Located in a former Somerville salon, this project faced major unforeseen conditions. Demolition revealed an irregular slab with significant elevation inconsistencies, complicating required plumbing and drain slopes. We collaborated with the GC, MEP consultants, and the franchisee to develop rapid, compliant solutions. The final design delivers a high-performance Tropical Smoothie Cafe that balances strict franchise equipment specifications with the site’s physical limitations.
